[Verifying] Wakelock after using Bluetooth devices

    He is not. The issue is valid and has been reported for Open Beta 1.
    It seems to be addressed / fixed in the latest Closed Beta.

    Would als be great if you could read the whole first post. I said that this bug occurs in open beta 1 AND closed beta 3, so that oneplus would know that open beta 3 didn't fix it.

    Indeed. I just got a message from someone on xda who says that the issue still occurs on closed beta 4. So maybe it's partially fixed? Can't flash it myself before Sunday unfortunately.

    Same for me. Maybe i'll find some time. I really hope it resolves the issue. I should keep an eye on the xda thread as well.

    I think I may have been too hasty. Yesterday the phone did sleep after using bluetooth then turning off. Today it isn't sleeping again.

    I'm actually seeing the same with my OP5 on both CB3/CB4 and OB1/OB2. But, I can charge the phone and pair to my miband2 and no awake. However, after a while it suddenly starts (being awake). Maybe it's the car connection someone here mentioned earlier. I removed the car pairing and will report back (still being on OB2)

    I had good hopes with OpenBeta 2. When i updated yesterday noon i was on about 90% battery and it stated that i have like 30 hours to go - With bluetooth enabled.

    Unfortunately, this was not true. During this night, the device was active all the time and drained about 30% battery, and now i have to load it again.

    I don't know why we are putting efforts in betatesting and reporting bugs, when they are being completely ignored. Don't know about you guys, but to me it's a very frustrating experience. At least OnePlus could state: "Yes, we recognized this and are working on it". Maybe get some additional information from one of us.
    I thought that's what beta is for.

    But they simply say nothing and it seems that they are not fixing it as well, so i might get the impression they don't even read our feedback. :(

    I feel the same way. I have to stay om nougat until this is sorted out. The lack of response of oneplus makes me consider not buying any oneplus device again unfortunately.

    I've reverted to Nougat back as well. Too bad, gonna miss PiP, autofill and parallel apps.I use Bluetooth too often.

    Hi All,

    For those who hit bluetooth wake lock issue, please provide logs for us to do further analysis. Thanks in advance.

    1. Input the command *#800# in the dialer
    2. Tap on Get Wireless Log at the bottom of the page and tap on Delete history logs
    3. Tap on Get Hot And Power Issue Log to start the capturing process
    4. Replicate the issue, take a screenshot to record the time
    5. Return to the log interface and tap on Stop logging
    6. Zip the oem log file from file manager storage and share it to bughunters@oneplus.net with issue happening time screenshots and description.

    Please send us the log from file manager instead of pack log and share option from above capture process.

    Guys, i'm only highlighting you to take note that the bughinters team recognized our issue.
    Maybe you want to help providing some logs as well although you've might have already rolled back. I think with more information we collect, the chanced are higher to get it fixed and a good, wakelock free release.

    Thanks! I've noticed indeed. Unfortunately, I had to roll-back to nougat. I really need to be able to trust on my battery life for my work and such. I might be able to flash the beta within a week or 2.

    Data sent in the hope that this bug will be fixed soon. I'm also thinking about switching back because I do not want to restart the phone every time I listen to music via Bluetooth. Plus the battery consumption of 10-20 percent in 6-8 hours overnight with WiFi and mobile data turn off while conneting to my SmartBand.
