[Verifying] Wakelock after using Bluetooth devices

  1. swa100 Froyo Dec 3, 2017

    swa100, Dec 3, 2017 :
I was getting constant wakelocks on open beta 1 and also on the 3rd leaked close beta. It seems that the phone stays awake when Bluetooth has been used. The wakekock is gone after a reboot (with Bluetooth turned off). In my case, it was happening after playing pokemon GO with the Pokémon go plus Bluetooth accessoire. When done playing and turning off Bluetooth, the phone would stay awake. Reverted to nougat because of this.

    Edit: see: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/help/wakelock-upd

    I experience the same.
"Dirty" flashed the beta, and after three days of poor battery (barely 24hrs with a 100% load. 1-2hrs on screen time) i did a full wipe.
Still battery is draining incredibly fast.

Unfortunately I’m facing the same problem. Of course this is a beta and you have to expect errors, but this problem makes the software currently unusable for me.
Through the connection with my Sony SmartWatch 3 and the SmartBand my device is permanently active and drains the battery. Thus, I have a battery consumption of 15-30 percent in 6-8 hours overnight with WiFi and mobile data turn off.
Of course the device is charged quickly but unfortunately this helps nothing if you do not come through the day because there is so much battery consumed in standby.

    For me it's a fitbit charge 2.
Also i can conform that when i disable blietooth and restart my OP5, the battery life is great.

As soon as i enable bluetooth, it drains. Reproducable. As soon as bluetooth is active, the device is active 24/7.
Today i had aboit 19 hours with a full charge. Two hours screen on time.

Top users of the battery are:
    android system
    play services
    android os

Sounds awesome. I would give it a try, but i'm on call at work and need to be reachable this week unfortunately.
Now i'm really looking forward for OpenBeta 2 :)

I hope you are joking. Leaked Beta 3 is a non-officially not supported version. How can you even complain about issues in a closed beta.
