Temporary solution to a much bigger problem... and it doesn't even address the system sided wakelock problem. I understand you are trying to help... but copying and pasting the same response that some hundred other people have made isn't really helping. It's more like spam.

not really it worked for me 100%
somehow oneplus developers have an issue in something that my mind is aint capable if knowing what it is since im not that geek.

but when u upgrade from a version to another. the software gets confused between old and new settings. so a clean flash or a factory reset gets the sh*t done and makes ur oneplus phone perform like a beast.

Is this normal? Battery draining too fast from past couple of days. I have tried other tricks posted on this matter recently.

When you update Windows, does it get confused between the old and new settings? Do any other devices android devices get confused between old and new settings? In fact, does any other software, whether it be OS or application get confused when you updated it? No. (Well, It's extremely uncommon) It's a sign of poorly made software. If you update, say the Facebook app, do you need to wipe it's cache every time? No. It just works.

I don't disagree that factory resetting and wiping the cache and all that improves the performance and fixes issues, but it should not have to be done after a few months. For Windows it can be as low as 1 year, but more often than not you can go for 4 or 5 years. Mainly, till the next version of Windows. Same thing with Android. I've had devices update from 4.x to 5 and then to 6 over multiple years, and I've never had to reset them once.

I'm using the phone for the past 2 months and had a great screen on time of about 7 hours at an average.
i by mistake did a factory reset from the recovery mode and since then my screen on time is only 3 hours.
    I'm on OS 4.1.3.
i did reset a couple of times to no use.
i need the screen on time of 7 hours back.
it drained 10% in 6 hours even when on battery saver mode overnight which never happened.
    please help.

1.Would dash charging degrade my battery in future & reduce my battery life? (since current rating is 4A for 3400mAh while in other phones with same mAh less than 2A)
    2. What will happen if i charge my OnePlus3T regularly just by using a normal charger of some other brand?
3.How would I charge my phone at places where the voltage is just 110VAc(like in trains, metro) as the input voltage written on dash charger is 200 - 240VAc

You buy op3t for dash charge no? So why you don't use it...From my experience with others phone I know that using others cables not original will damage the batterry...so just use dash charge ;)

I think there's still room for improvement. Battery still sucks now and then. Luckily we have dash charge.

Recently brought Oneplus 3T. I have noticed that dash charge is not as fast as it should be. Contacted Customer support through chat and the reply was I should switch off the phone while chharging. Anyone else got that reply also?
Finally, I also think the battery is dissipating even when the phone is not used...
