I updated to OREO via the OTA and it was a dirty install. I started to have the battery issue just like many other users.Everyone is suggesting a clean install. will there be any issue if I flash the same OS5.0 by downloading it from the website and making a clean install from Oneplus default recovery ? correct me if I'm wrong:

    1. Current state is Oreo OS 5.0
    2. Make a factory reset.
    3. Put the zip file and flash via recovery.
    4. Make another reset after the OS has been flashed.

    thanks mods

considering that a new beta build was just released there might be some hope that a new stable build is coming pretty soon based on the last beta which supposedly solved the issue.
