Unable to update or download apps over WiFi (Oxygen 4.0.3)

    indraneiltomar, Feb 17, 2017 :
After receiving a recent Oxygen update via OTA for Oxygen 4.0.3, my OP3 is unable to download or update any app from the play store. Although the apps download on mobile network, as soon as I switch to WiFi, the download gets stuck on the very spot.

Solutions tried (based on similar threads)

    1: Uninstall true caller
2: Uninstall play Store update from Apps settings
    3: cache cleared
    4: Phone reboot
5: Data saver mode (exception for play store)

Please notice the progress bar as I switch from WiFi to mobile data. Doesn't start on WiFi but as I switch it to mobile data, the download commences.

Also try to forget the wifi network and then re-add it. Don't know if that will help but I'm just throwing it out there. Also try the above suggestion as that IPV6 was interfering with my home wifi router. I had to turn off IPV6. I turn off smart wifi switcher, or whatever it's called, too.

If you are trying to download using mobile data on roaming, it will not work in Nougat

Some Android phone are coming with the function of smart eye in which phone brightness set in night automatically by the phone.
But in oneplus we have to switch manually in night mode.

Same function should be available in OP3.

If you're rooted, check any root apps running that might be interfering. If unrooted, look at app permissions for controlling Wifi/VPN apps.
