The **** I just realized it now, what it could have hurt oneplus to keep this simple but basic feature alive?

Haha I feel your frustration! They could have satisfied everyone if they just added a vibration option to silent mode and left it there.

I agree it's crap that it's made Android Wear useless... :/

They need more configurable options in each profile - merging past setup and the new setup to make all users happy.

I'm glad we finally could, haha.

No comes the next point of if/when the OP2 will get another update before Nougat. I personally don't think so.

I'm guessing you have the OP3/3T so have more chance of this annoyance being resolved sooner...

After the latest update, from few days i am facing a problem. While using some apps suddenly it gets closed and device is asking my password just like after restarting the device but it actually not restarting the device.
    What should I do???

I do have an OP3, but I think OP2 solutions could come as soon as OP3. Hopefully, breaking Android Wear is significant enough of an issue to patch an update to all OOS devices. And also whenever Xposed finally comes to Nougat, I imagine there will be a quick solution. If I were on an OP2, I think I'd already have found an Xposed module to sort it out.

    That's just arrogant and ignorant.

The only way to get vibration is to have it enabled for the silent mode now. If I want absolutely no noise or vibration I have to go back into settings to disable vibration. This wasn't an issue with the old mode where I could just slide the alert slider. There are times when I like ring vibrate and complete silence and those are all options I'd like to be able to control with the alert slider or the volume rocker.

I'm of the point of view to bring back the old slider options. It just fit my lifestyle alot better. here's hoping they listen!
