Read earlier in this thread only that deleting logs freed memory for some people.

I am unable to find connection between drive and other folder.

Somebody must solve this mystery of what this 3.4gb doing in other folder.

Yes and the best place to be I think. Although, the thread that was started for 4.1.2 was pretty funny also.

    There are many like you.

    Wipe cache in recovery.

If you don't know how to do it. Don't bother.
Just factory reset your phone. Do take backup of your data.

When I clicked 'other' this is what I saw so I figured there may be a connection. After deleting the logs I rebooted and checked back didn't see anything change until I cleaned up my Google Drive Screenshot_20170420-235150.png

It might have something to do with F2Fs in combination with seamless update, I'm somehow still on ext4 and mine is 1.6gb big. But maybe I have already told you, I don't know anymore.

If it has something to do with F2Fs, then this extra space should have been there in MM too as F2Fs was introduced in official 3.2.7 and there was no such problem.

Secondly, Google has not implemented seamless update feature in pixel or nexus devices yet as far as I know. Then why would oneplus do beforehand?

These are some basic questions I have.

Now don't get pissed at me for asking questions :p

Secondly, update is fine for majority. There are few exceptions though.

Well I like to think, updates are meant to improve. So I do my regular updates. Should something occur like battery drainage or some other issue, I find it not a great deal as solutions can easily be found on the forum. Just wipe your cache in recovery after update, this prevents already a lot possible issues.

I don't get pissed with you, if you think so I might have to rephrase. By saying I might have told already, I didn't mean it as in you should listen, but as in, I don't know anymore if it was you I've told so if I it was you I am sorry to mention this again. More to cover myself for not remembering who I told this.:confused:

True F2Fs came with MM, but seemsless update came with nougat, so that could explain the point where it started. The fact why OP might have implemented this and Google hasn't, I don't know. It just an assumption on my side to think so. I haven't had the time to Google it, maybe I will soon to see if I can find something.

For me it's not a big problem at this moment as I try to keep as little stored on my phone as possible. :)
