    Hello!

I'm starting this thread as I have searched and found nothing similar. (If there is something already my apologies. Feel free to close/merge this thread)

I got my OnePlus 5 three days ago and have found it to be a phenomenal phone. I would like people opinions on the vibrate motor. I find it to be much stronger than the 3/3T and love it myself.

Just wanting to see what other think of it.

I would like it to be lighter. Especially for tap to vibrate. It would be nice if we could change in ms (as u can do on samsung devices)

You can edit this if you are using GBoard. Press the G in the top left-hand corner of your keyboard then press the settings gear in the top right. Then under Vibrate on keypress there is a setting for vibration strength on keypress.

Yes the motor is significantly better than the 3/3T for sure. I noticed this too.

if you think it's too strong you can go to setting -> sound & vibration. There you can change the vibration intensity and pattern.

Yep love the vibration motor. They mentioned they improved it with the 5 during the launch, and they definitely did. It's great!

Is there a way to turn off vibration during unlocking the phone using fingerprint sensor?

It seems like a better vibrating motor than most phones I've used. Definitely better than my 6p previously or even my OnePlus 3.
