On-Screen Navigation (Back Button BUG)

  1. pxwee5 Donut Jul 16, 2016

    pxwee5, Jul 16, 2016 :
Hi guys, got my OP3 a few days ago and been loving every bit of the speed.

I encountered something last night when I turned on the on-screen navigation buttons.

I noticed that the "back" button does not register sometimes even when it is pressed. However, the responsive vibration feedback did prop, just that the "back" action was not registered to the software.

    Anyone experiencing this issue?

I think the area that activates the back function is smaller than the area that activates the vibration response.

Thought this is still a hit and miss thing.

Found a similar issue on reddit. Appreciate it if there are updates on this issue. I'm updating the first page with some basic information on your system.

    Hi pxwee5!

I'm the one who made the post on Reddit, glad I'm not the only one with this issue

For you to add some info to the main post:

I'm using OxygenOS 3.2.1 - Nova Launcher Prime
But, I had the same issue with the OOS Launcher too. No metter the launcher, the issue persist.

Just to add, I'm also experiencing the exact same issue with the back software button. There's no pattern to when it happens, but I'm having to hit the back button twice or more sometimes which is very frustrating. It doesn't happen ever when hardware keys are used. I was wondering if the issue is related to the double tap and long press functionality that OnePlus have provided for the hard buttons. Only had this phone a day but I may have to request a refund if I can't use the software nav bar properly as that's what I'm used to, especially to use the device comfortably with one hand. I'm guessing we're not hearing much about this issue as many users prefer using hard keys as they perceive this as getting more space space.

Indeed, updated to 3.2.2... even erase cache before the boot. But the problem persists
