I did that yesterday, and I think it helped. Thanks
Well, well, well, a pretty good rom. Nice features and good battery life so far. It even has a sane thermal config file, LOL! It's missing the Blacklist feature which I've always liked about CM. Initially had several instances of network drop which I noticed had stopped after I flashed the addon zip and Boeffla kernel. Dunno which fixed it and don't care . Now I can only hope that the genius finds the time to build Xposed for Nougat.
What add-on zip..?
which ad on zip?
It's a file for helping with root issues I found at XDA. Had nothing to do with fixing the drops issue, I'd think. More likely it was either the kernel or the cache wipe operations after flashing both.
New update is out. Not that much change looking at change log.
Anyone tried it?
I don't think there will be any major changes until OP releases Nougat for OP2.
Just installed it and working okay for me.
Here the majors changes in this release https://www.lineageos.org/Changelog-9/
Jelly is included. Mostly under the hood changes. Boeffla pushed out a kernel update.
latest build runs nice so far
nothing new so, I don't flash the newest Nightly.
what's the benefict using boeffla kernel?
Better battery life...!
I have installed boeffla kernel, but is it mandatory to have the auditor app to have better battery life. If auditor app helps, then is it too much configuration required to change the settings in app or custom settings available ?
How much does the battery get better?
thinking of installing boeffla too
its a great improvement like without kernel i use to get 2 to 2.5 hours of sot....now its like 4 to 4.5...so its a great choice....!but it also depends on how you use your phone
ok I installed the boeffla kernel.
is boeffla better than franko?
I dont think franko supports lineage os....i dont know exactly...but boefella works great for me....
boeffla supports Lineage too
I'm using Franco kernel for some time now on my OP2 with the latest Lineage.
