Is anyone experiencing overnight battery drain. I am losing around 20% in around 5-6 hours. It was 90% when I slept and 71% when I woke up.
Don't forget to participate in the poll in the original post!
that`s exactly, what I am telling
and does not have such "overnight" battery drains and lots and lots of other issues
as USUAL for 1+ devices
and the result was 87
so "somewhere between 86 and 88 points" was a very good guess
To all those people who have not been impressed enough by the OP5 (or other smartphones) to upgrade their current phones: which devices are you looking forward to and why?
For now, my favourite are the next generation of Xiaomi devices, provided that they stick to their dual cameras and keep on working on their bezel-less sceens!^^
I am looking forward to see Lenovo/Motorola release their X/Z series...
Sony release their next phones...
And also the 2017 Google Pixels.
I am looking to the sony xperia XZ premium, if you look wel, you find him already for less then 600 euro's. i like the design more then the dull one plus 5. I loved he one plus 3 but sorry the 5 does nothing for me.
An other option is the LG G6, for price, you find him for about 360, so a lot cheaper, or perhaps i wait for the note 8 to have settled or the essential phone.. i realy don't know yett..
One thing i am almost sure of, it will not be one plus. The issues with my one plus one, now only 2.5 years regarding wifi /4G switch has never been solved, not nice...
I'll have to wait to see if the community support gains momentum first but the ZTE Nubia Z17 or the Mi Mix 2 are getting my full attention now. The OP5 was a deception to say the least and for this kind of money I better look elsewhere for a device with bezel-less screen and higher screen to body ratio.
I have also stumbled across those babies. I have to say that the Nubia Z17 is definitely the most promising one, but the lack of a headphonejack a red line for me
Design and spec-whise, I'm also looking forward to the MiMix 2. I hope that there will be enough community-support on XDA for some exciting alternatives to MIUI! :3
The Essential looks tempting indeed, but I'm not sure if it will be worth the money (it's pretty expensive here in Europe).
The other more "prominent" flagships (Samsung, LG, Huawei etc.) usually don't get my attention. I simply don't like mass-products. I want an outstanding phone!
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/201975256032
I don't know if it's against forum rules. There's only two hours left so just posting this here
Google Pixel XL 2
check out "red eye remover" thread
This will certainly be a great phone, but I'm afraid that with the promised price, there will hardly be a good value for money ratio
Video Audio synchronization issues in all video running apps from the phone (Ex: youtube, FB etc)
A delay of 2-3secs between audio and Video.
Has anyone come across this issue?
Please provide solutions if any.
Haven't had this issue so far
The problem with the Higher Resolution display is, the battery technology does not currently exist to support higher resolutions. If you look at other phones that have higher resolutions than 1080p, the batteries barely last a day.
It is a nice idea, yes, but will only be realistic when better battery technology is released. Until then 1080p is the highest resolution for a smartphone in the real world.
