Yes it will.. the version are being checked when you launch System Updates because the phone does not have variants so it will only focus on models e.g 5T, 5, 3T and so on.

I was thinking about this topic for a few days after reading all 71 pages of problems, draining issues etc.. I don't know if you have noticed on your own phone and that is, most of you don't close the background apps while I always do it whenever I finished using it. Comparing background apps which were seldom to frequent open in the background to closing it and open as an when needed do makes tons of sense on saving battery drain. What say you?

Hey guys is just did a bit of a battery review challenge, now this ain't no supper precise test but i wanted to see what happens. SO

Since i am in the possession of a second phone i decided to use it for a battery comparison. My main phone is running 4.7.6 and the new phone was on the stock 4.7.0. The drain was done with YouTube and a bit of camera usage to speed up the drain

    4.7.6

    Screenshot_20180101-222944.jpg Screenshot_20180101-222937.jpg Screenshot_20180101-222927.jpg

    4.7.0

Now true my main phone did have some extra notifications from additional apps, and my sim in it. Not sure how my second phone shows green in the signal bar when it had no SIM in it.

Buttttt still it seems strange that it would have 1 extra H of battery, so i thought what if i update it to 4.7.6 also

But seems like the update shortened it.

Again not super scientific, and i don't have time to repeat it a lot of times but still fund this interesting :D

Li-ion and Li-Po batteries (and other chem batteries tend to behave this way, it's quite natural.

As the voltage on the battery lowers with discharge, it gets more sensitive to peak loads, causing the voltage-sag on the battery to be more severe. So if your battery is at 5% charge and your phone decides to do some background work (causing a higher-than-idle amp draw), the voltage of the battery will temporarily drop further and cause it to appear as going to zero charge - again causing the phones power management to shut the phone down to protect the battery.

A battery's charge is not a linear thing. We have grown way too accustomed to having these meters which show an estimated charge percentage. It's really not a realistic thing to do, but in order to make the battery charge comprehend-able to the average consumer, it's what we get - and as a trade-off, questions like these are raised.

So this what you would call a manual task killer. Task killers were a myth that got busted. Apps don't really close as much as you think. If I swipe or close my FB messenger, I will still get notifications within some time. So closing the makes it automatically open again, which needs power resources.

I do noticed Google Maps and FB do run at the background.. but these are some selective apps. Once you logout of FB and close the app, it will remain closed for good.. Same goes to Google Maps, when you end your trip, it will not run at the background.
