The camera is not great, sound is crappy, Bluetooth is fidgity, and design is blah. not at all what I expected. My daughter has the OP3 and loves it, but she only paid 300CAN for it. I paid over 700CAN. The only thing that saves the phone for me it the battery life and charging speed... but mind you, even that seems to be going down. If you so much as mention anything to OnePlus, they basically tell you it's imposible, because you know, they use top quality material and craftsmanship (or however they say it). I was also ready to send the phone back, but after reading comments from customers that sent theirs back and the problems they've had, I took a closer look at their return policy. not worth the trouble. I'll keep the phone and suck it up to life lessoons.

Oneplus 5 features works exactly as advertised. Other phones features are not working as described so I do not agree with you.

I noticed it shortly after using my phone , but it's subjective to the individual.
The fact that people are noticing it and are not liking the effect, is a testimony as to, if they should have went with the design.

As for your point about Google having the option built into Android....
My thoughts are, just because you can, doesn't mean you should....because had they inverted it and thoroughly tested it, prior to production with a beta group, they may have opted out of doing it that way.

However all that said, it doesn't matter, it is what it is.
After all, the OP5, is just a revamped OPPO R11, so that decision for the display originated from them.

This brand is not loyal to its customers. And we OP2 and X users are facing this for long.

I'm getting on average between 5 and 6 hours of screen on time. Some days are way better though. I got 8 hours my first day with the phone. and I got 8 hours yesterday. But those are rare.

reading through all these post is interesting.
All I have to say is my OP5 seems to be working fine. Had some Bluetooth issues but there was an update. Pictures are better than the iPhone 6S for sure. The phone seems super fast, it does look like an iPhone which looks nice but it's a 2year old look. Compared the OP5 to the new galaxy 8 and the OP5 does have a dated look.
It's to bad that OnePlus is so resistant returns and or comments.
