****... And do you know if the trick to enable APTX by flashing the drivers is still working on OOS4.1 ?

It's not included and.... drivers installation throught zip or magisk module was working on 4.0.X but it's broken on 4.1.So no APTX at the moment... Lame!
    To test it by yourself:
    (if you're rooted)
After starting your BT device and after starting playing music, in a log app like matlog, look for :
    btif_a2dp_encoder_init
    If it's aptX, good [IMG]
If it's SBC , no good [IMG]

I have OnePlus 3T and rooted on 7.1.1 and OOS4.1.1

I've uploaded two different aptX zip files and tried both, and in both cases the phone connects to my car stereo (new Kenwood model with aptX) and the aptX logo shows briefly (1-2 seconds) on the head unit and then disconnects. .. I can then reconnect but without the aptX logo showing...

I'll try the matlog later... any comments?

I think if both devices are aptX enabled, a message pops up on the phone stating that your device is using the aptX codec.
