Brace yourselves for the most-desired/asked-for mod of the OPO-users...
    COLOR-OS CAMERA...!!!

    #Wishes_Granted

Lately, on the very famous XDA-Forum, a group of Angel-like Developers/Members have successfully ported the ColorOS camera for the OnePlus One (A0001) or Bacon, as every owner now wants it to be referred to as.

The mighty ONE has now grown mightier... Apart from the updates/Custom-Roms/Pre-built Lollipop etc; yet another feather added but as an APP.

Let's get to the business now...

The APP has been succesfully ported, and many have reported it to be performing very well on the device.
Though, the app is still in its
Beta-Builds, it is quite interesting to know, that the pictures clicked with the app describe the purity and the sharpness missing on the original CameraNext.

On that note, it should be mentioned that the, Plug-ins, the ColorOS camera is famous/known for are working too with the app.

The app with its Slow-Shutter Plug-in/HD will charm the users with its best-known low-light shots capability producing some very distinct images unlike the alleged Poor Low-light performance of the stock CM camera.
The video-recording marks its presence recording great videos with different resolutions available in its ally.

Now, ending the brief reading with a sigh-of-relief... Head-over to the spoiler below for Downloads and experience the Best-thing-to-happen to OPO...

P.S: The downloaded zip file contains the Camera-App & Plug-ins bundled into two separate folders.
ALL FILES INCLUDED ARE ".apk" FILES, TO BE INSTALLED AS ANY NORMAL APP.

AFTER INSTALLING THE APP & PLUG-INS, CLEAR THE "DATA & CACHE" BY GOING TO "APP-Info".
This is MANDATORY for the PLUG-INS to show-up in the App.

Please help yourself to follow the WORKING/NOT-WORKING features at the official XDA thread linked below @sources and...

Sorry but don't see much of a difference. I still haven't tried it out in low light though.

You're not doing it right if you see no difference tbh, it's day and night to me.

Better low light performance, better color reproduction, less noise, faster viewfinder, faster shutter, plugins..

Proof that plugins do work, you need to delete the camera's data and cache then the plugins will show up.

The pictures you take also won't show up in the default camera app, at least not last time I checked. Maybe now they do, if they don't, use quickpic

    1) Download the apk.
    2) Copy it to your phone.
    3) Go To Settings => Security => Enable This: Unknown sources
    4) Search the apk with the File Manager and Open It
    5) Complete the installation Process and it is done.

    Works for me

Why do you only use that plugin? The 50MP feature is also great, only if you're gonna be cropping though. Or printing on a billboard xD

Really? Manual Focus Works For You!?

    Ok i will try again.

PD: My favorite Camera Technique is focus, i love to take Macro Pictures and that kind of stuff

Maybe clear the app data and cache, uninstall and reinstall.

Manual focus works for me but it's finicky. I'm in a dark black room so it has nothing to focus on but I got it to work once with flash
