7.1.2 Beta?

  1. ruler1976 Gingerbread Mar 20, 2017

    ruler1976, Mar 20, 2017 :
Google has announced that the second beta update for Android Nougat MR2 (7.1.2) is now rolling out to the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, and Nexus Player.

How long do you guys think until we see a beta 4 with 7.1.2 for the 3t?

This shows the need to change the requirements for creating a thread. Instead of posting five times, each new user should have to get at least 100 likes before starting a new thread...

don't mind the mean bitches here.

the new updates take time to iron out the bugs and get pushed for public release. there is no specific time frame for this.

I guess simply because everyone has a chip on their shoulder and feels the need to correct people who they think have just said "the dumbest thing that's ever shown up on the internet"

Sometimes I feel like this forum brings out the worst in people (myself included). But there's times when it can actually be good...

In answer to your question, It's hard to say when it'll come because they have to get it out of beta and to the google devices, but after that, OnePlus has been some of the fastest (lately) in bringing updates, so it shouldn't be too terribly long after that :)

Well, as you said yourself you're new around here. Once you've been here more than a couple of weeks you'll realise that the main issue is that almost every thread was started by some asshat who didn't bother reading, didn't bother searching, and who only wanted to hear the sound of their own voice flailing around cluelessly in the void. It stands to reason that people get sick of that shit after a while.

I'm not saying that you're one of them, I'm just saying that there are a lot of those ****ers around here.

I just recently got my 3T but I do find from my experience that OnePlus creates updates on a timely basis. Better than other big companies like Samsung.
Also I wouldn't be always so keen on updates.
My Galaxy S4, I stayed with Kitkat 4.4.2 for 3.5 years. I didn't want to update to Lollipop because certain apps wouldn't work.
I am even tempted to take my 3T and downgrade it to 3.5.4 so that I can use Xposed.

I'd say don't go over numbers, every year Google will release a new version. It's all a number game Android 7,8,9.....like Snap dragon 820,821,835.....there's no end to the technological advancement. What we actually need is a rock solid OS that performs well and does it's said job.
