    And apps?
Have you turned off background activity for each app? Like Facebook messenger whatsapp etc?

    1. You will get notification, but not all time exactly right on time.
Sometime on Facebook, I get 3 4 notification after 10 min of their real time.. Sometime I get the notification in real time. Most of the time it's on real time notifications..
And for Instagram, it drain most of the battery. I stopped using it.if you still wanna use Instagram, don't complain of battery life
You have a smartphone, making your life easier and connected "Online" all the time.

You can do that, by switching the background data for all apps you're using.

Some apps must be using toouch power in the background, especially apps like fb, messeger. You can also put your phone on airplane mode because overnight cellular signals can consume battery depending on how good the signal strength is. If you're concerned too much about this drainage then just switch off your phone before you go to bed.

did you reset the phone after update? didn't understand that part..
ideally clear the cache and reboot the phone after any updates.. else i have observed the battery drain pretty much..

Thats why I said there must be some apps using too much power. Also check your wifi and bluetooth, nfc.
